A downloadable book

Going well, after a while of not having time to work on the game between break and conferences, the most major change/piece of work so far is that I switched engines from rpgplayground to Bitsy. Bitsy might be simpler and a pain to work with in different ways but gets at what I want to do in a simpler way. Rpgplayground offered a lot more work for an end product I don't think I'd be happy with, and Bitsy lets me focus on other parts of the game that I'd rather get just right. The biggest worry is getting the map to feel grand but also not burdening myself with creating a thousand different rooms to get that effect, so it's something to keep in mind.

Group Work

1)  Clunky but not bad, made me realize how much experience you get with a game once you put 100 hours into it.

2)  Mainly through trial and error, like trying different tools to see what they do but I tried my best to give everyone the basics on how exactly to play.

3) Mostly free for all right now but I tried to get a good area set up for farming and if only one of us focuses on that and everyone else goes off and does other things we should be fine. Whatever happens though, it's all pretty low stakes, so not much to worry about regardless.

4) Nothing new in the narrative yet but the day we started was the day that new major update released for it, so I imagine we'll all be finding new stuff at the same time. Which I'm actually really happy about, it adds a freshness to everything and might help with getting through the earlier parts of the game feel less tedious.
